The Humming Monitor - Corporate Culture Research The Humming Monitor is a tailor made company Culture study. Don't confuse this with a staff climate study. Culture Studies provide a diagnostic assessment of workings of an organisation based on 'what we do'- behaviour' Climate studies assess workforce mood and are known to provoke inaccurate responses. Purpose The Humming Monitor is a diagnostic tool. It uses statement agreement questions to deliver a detailed employee based perception of the organisation and it's by definition - its Culture. Many clients choose to repeat the study an annual basis to chart success and build benchmarks. We recommend questions be distributed as hard copy questionnaire - because we achieve higher response levels and improved accuracy. The questionnaire can be completed electronically. However, our experience shows that response rates fall off. Benefit The questions are written to deliver a very insightful view of the organization. This is an important discussion that ensures the report can reflect intelligently on the responses. A detailed presentation to management follows 5 days later.
